Work through these questions in order. Stop at any uncertainty that would change permission, safety or access. A useful estimate can separate the parts you already understand from those that need a site review.

## What will you use the area for?

Choose inspection, maintenance, a fence repair, grazing or construction. If construction follows, obtain the receiving contractor's requirements.

## Is the footprint settled?

Identify the corners you can confirm and any areas that need a survey or owner decision.

## What must remain?

Describe retained screens, valued trees, existing gates and surfaces to protect.

## Can equipment reach and leave the site?

Show the entrance, tightest turn, softest stretch and the destination.

## What can remain underfoot?

Say whether chips and woody roots are acceptable under the next use. If unsure, mark the area for a method comparison.

## Where can larger material go?

Choose on-site use, a defined staging spot, export or an unresolved destination.

## Are utilities, water features or approvals unresolved?

Identify the affected area and the person or authority who can resolve it. Defer work there until the answer is available.

## Who will accept the finished condition?

Name the owner or receiving trade and what they need to inspect.

## Your next step

If limits or permissions are uncertain, begin with a boundary and access discussion. If the footprint is settled but the surface is undecided, compare cutting, mulching and extraction. If the finish and access are defined, [request a written estimate](https://canebrakeleaguecitylandclearing.com/contact/) with the sketch and material plan.

The interactive assessment returns a planning recommendation based on your answers.
